Before entering into the world of school governance, I spent many years working in HR for the pharmaceutical industry.  I joined the infant school governing board as a parent governor in 2013 and since then have worked with some amazing and committed volunteers, all giving up their time to make the school the best it can possibly be for the children.

Following the decision by the infant and junior schools to federate in the summer of 2023, I was delighted to join the new governing board and was elected as Chair in June of that year.

I now use my governance experience to support schools and governors as part of the Hampshire County Council Governor Services team.

When I have spare time, I enjoy yoga, walking my little dog around the muddiest fields I can find, and playing the piano.  I also spend far too much time in search of the perfect cup of tea.
