At Four Lanes Federation we believe strongly that all pupils, including those with SEND, share an entitlement to access a broad and balanced curriculum, which embraces the Early Years Foundation Stage or National Curriculum, including enrichment opportunities.
Our Federation's aim is to secure strong progress and outcomes for all children, including those with SEND. We know that this is done best in collaboration with parents, particularly for those pupils with Education Health Care Plans. We believe that Belonging, one of our core values, is a right for every child and this includes being part of a class, year group and our wider school and Federation community.
If a parent has concerns about their child's progress or development, or they believe that their child has additional needs, we welcome contact with their child's class teacher. Further to this, a meeting will be held where all parties discuss current presentation and next steps.
At Four Lanes we believe that by securing our ordinarily available provision through high-quality inclusive teaching, every child can succeed.
